Frequently Asked Questions

All GSG Guitars are built with the same techniques, mechanics and sound.  The difference is the finish option and accessory choices.  GSG Growler model guitars are maple body with a laminate finish.  The GSG ShoNuff guitars are maple body with a lacquer finish.   

GSG Steel Guitars are built with standard legs for average 6ft knee clearance when sitting.  If you are over 6ft tall, please advise so we can make leg adjustments for your comfort.  

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and check payment.   ALL SALES FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.  

GSG pedal steel guitars are built as shown.  Custom upgrades/additions to knee levers and pedals are not available at this time, but we welcome suggestions and input.

GSG guitars are built right handed but can be built left handed at no additional charge.  Be sure to advise Sales at the time of order.

Growler Steel Guitars - Limited Lifetime Warranty

• GSG Growler and ShoNuff model pedal steel guitars include a limited lifetime warranty on the undercarriage for the original purchaser only.
• This warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original owner who purchased the instrument new.
• Any modifications, repairs, or alterations made to the undercarriage outside of Growler Steel Guitar Shop will void this warranty in its entirety.
• Parts determined by Growler Steel Guitar Shop to be defective will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Warranty coverage applies to parts and labor. Additional upgrades outside of warranty claim will be charged at parts cost plus labor fee.
• The original purchaser is responsible for all shipping, handling, and insurance charges associated with warranty service.

This warranty does not cover:

• String replacement
• Routine maintenance
• Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must:

• Contact Growler Steel Guitar Shop prior to returning any instrument or parts to obtain authorization for warranty service. 
• Provide a description of the issue, including photos or videos if requested, to assist in evaluation.
• Ship the instrument or affected parts prepaid and insured to the address      provided by Growler Steel Guitar Shop or schedule an appointment with the shop for personal delivery.
• Growler Steel Guitar Shop reserves the right to inspect and evaluate the instrument or parts prior to approving warranty service. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
• This warranty is provided in lieu of all other expressed or implied warranties.
